1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the Empire Kitchen website (empire.kitchen), services, programs, or content, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

Empire Kitchen is operated by Lace Flowers, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Empire Kitchen provides:

  • Educational content and methodologies for entrepreneurial family systems

  • Membership communities and resources (Foundation and Collective tiers)

  • Online courses and training programs (current and future offerings)

  • Workshops and group programs

  • Coaching and consulting services (1:1 intensives and group coaching)

  • Digital products and materials (challenges, templates, guides, cookbooks, etc.)

  • Speaking and event services

All services and products are subject to their specific terms and these general Terms of Service.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

3.1 General Payment Terms

  • All fees are displayed at time of purchase

  • All payments are processed through Stripe

  • You authorize recurring charges for subscription-based services

  • You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information

  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes

3.2 Pricing Changes

  • Prices are subject to change with notice

  • Current members will be grandfathered at existing rates when possible

  • New prices apply at next renewal for subscription services

3.3 Failed Payments (Subscription Services Only)

  • If your payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry every 24 hours

  • Your access will be immediately revoked until payment is successful

  • If payment fails for 14 consecutive days, your subscription will be permanently cancelled

  • You will need to re-purchase to regain access

4. REFUND POLICY

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS.

  • Empire Kitchen operates a strict no-refund policy for all products and services

  • Digital products are delivered immediately upon purchase, making them non-refundable

  • Memberships, courses, workshops, and digital products are non-refundable

  • 1:1 services are non-refundable once booked

  • You may cancel future billing for subscription services, but no refunds will be issued for past payments

  • By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy

  • Exception: Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure that prevents access to purchased services

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

5.1 Subscription Services (Memberships)

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time

  • To cancel: Log into your member portal or Stripe customer account

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period

  • You will retain access until the end of your paid period

  • No partial refunds for unused time

5.2 1:1 Services

  • Must provide 48-hour notice to reschedule appointments

  • No refunds for missed appointments without 48-hour notice

  • No-shows forfeit the session

5.3 Courses and Workshops

  • No cancellations or refunds once enrolled

  • Access remains for duration specified at time of purchase

6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

6.1 Account Security

  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

  • Account sharing is strictly prohibited

6.2 Acceptable Use

  • Use services for personal, non-commercial purposes only

  • Do not share, resell, or redistribute any content

  • Respect intellectual property rights

  • No illegal, harmful, or offensive content in community areas

  • Follow all community guidelines and communication boundaries

6.3 Age Requirements

  • Services intended for adults 18+ years

  • Parental consent and supervision required for minors using family programs

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1 Our Content

  • All Empire Kitchen content is proprietary and protected by copyright

  • This includes: recipes, videos, meal plans, courses, training modules, templates, meditations, printables, frameworks, systems, and all other materials

  • Limited license granted for personal use only during active subscription/purchase

  • No reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written permission

  • Trademarks and trade names are protected

7.2 Consequences of Violation

  • Immediate and permanent ban from all Empire Kitchen services without refund

  • Legal action may be taken for copyright infringement

  • We actively monitor for content theft and unauthorized sharing

7.3 User Content

  • You retain ownership of content you submit

  • You grant us license to use, modify, and display your content for Empire Kitchen purposes

  • You represent that you own or have rights to submitted content

8. COMMUNICATION BOUNDARIES

8.1 How to Contact Support

8.2 Direct Messaging Policy

  • Do NOT direct message Lace Flowers unless you are an active 1:1 client with authorized access

  • Unsolicited DMs will not receive a response

  • All support happens through designated channels

  • This boundary protects service quality and ensures equal support for all members

8.3 Response Times

  • Community questions: Responses vary (peer support + Lace when available)

  • Email inquiries: 2-5 business days

  • Premium tier members: Priority response within 1-3 business days where applicable

  • We do not provide 24/7 support

9. COMMUNITY CONDUCT & REMOVAL

9.1 Expected Behavior

  • Be respectful and supportive of other members

  • Keep discussions relevant and constructive

  • Respect boundaries and community guidelines

  • Use appropriate language (no hate speech, discrimination, harassment)

9.2 Prohibited Behavior

  • Spam or unauthorized promotional posts

  • Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind

  • Sharing harmful, offensive, or illegal content

  • Being disruptive, rude, or disrespectful

  • Violating communication boundaries

  • Account sharing or content theft

9.3 Removal Policy

  • We reserve the right to remove any member/client at any time, without notice or refund

  • Rude, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior results in immediate removal

  • Decisions regarding removal are final and non-negotiable

10. CONTENT & SERVICE CHANGES

10.1 Right to Modify

Empire Kitchen reserves the right to:

  • Change, update, or remove any content

  • Add or remove features, training, or resources

  • Modify service tiers, pricing, or structure

  • Discontinue any program, product, or service entirely

10.2 Notice of Changes

  • We will provide as much notice as possible for significant changes

  • We are not obligated to provide advance notice for minor updates

  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

10.3 No Guarantees

  • We do not guarantee specific content will always be available

  • Schedules, frequency, or format may change

  • Content may be updated, archived, or removed at our discretion

11. LIVE SESSIONS & RECORDINGS

11.1 Attendance

  • Live sessions scheduled in advance (applies to memberships, courses, workshops)

  • Attendance is optional but encouraged

  • Replays provided where applicable

  • We are not responsible if you miss a session

11.2 Recording & Privacy

  • All live sessions are recorded for replay and improvement purposes

  • By attending, you consent to being recorded (video and audio)

  • Keep camera/microphone off if you do not wish to be recorded

  • Recordings are for authorized use only and may not be shared

11.3 Schedule Changes

  • Session dates/times may change with notice

  • We accommodate schedules when possible but cannot guarantee convenience for all time zones

12. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATIONS

12.1 No Guarantees of Results

  • Empire Kitchen provides education, resources, and community support

  • We do not guarantee any specific results, outcomes, or transformations

  • Your results depend on your effort, consistency, and individual circumstances

12.2 Not Professional Advice

  • Content is for educational and informational purposes only

  • Not a substitute for professional advice (medical, nutritional, financial, legal, psychological, etc.)

  • Consult qualified professionals for specific advice

12.3 Health and Safety

  • Family activities should be age-appropriate and supervised

  • Parents/guardians responsible for child safety in all activities

  • Consult healthcare providers for dietary restrictions or health concerns

12.4 No Warranties

  • Services provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

  • No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service

  • No warranty of fitness for particular purpose

12.5 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

  • This includes but is not limited to: technical issues, lost data, business losses, personal injury, or any other damages

  • We are not responsible for third-party content or services

  • Your use of Empire Kitchen is at your own risk

12.6 Third-Party Tools

  • We may reference or provide links to third-party tools (e.g., Systeme.io, Stripe, Zoom, Telegram)

  • We are not responsible for the performance, security, or policies of third-party services

  • Use of third-party tools is subject to their own terms and conditions

13. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy (empire.kitchen/privacy) explains how we collect, use, and protect your information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13.1 Data Collection

We collect information necessary to provide services (name, email, payment info, usage data)

13.2 Data Usage

  • Your information is used to deliver services, send updates, and process payments

  • We will never sell your personal information

13.3 Email Communication

By purchasing, you consent to receive:

  • Service-related emails (confirmations, access details, support)

  • Community announcements

  • Promotional emails (you may unsubscribe from promotional emails only)

14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom.

14.2 Disputes

Any disputes will be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiation

  • Mediation (if necessary)

  • Binding arbitration in the United Kingdom

14.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

15. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

  • Updated effective date will be displayed

  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

  • Major changes will be communicated via email when possible

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Empire Kitchen.
