Please read these terms carefully before booking. By completing a workshop booking you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you are booking on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to enter into this agreement on their behalf.

Membership Termsand Conditions
Applies to all Empire Kitchen team membership subscriptions
1. Definitions
1.1 'Empire Kitchen', 'we', 'us', 'our' refers to Empire Kitchen, operated by Lace Flowers.
1.2 'Member', 'you', 'your' refers to the individual or organisation subscribing to the membership.
1.3 'Membership' refers to access to the Empire Kitchen digital content library and member community as described on the website.
1.4 'Team Membership' refers to a membership purchased by an organisation for access by its employees or team members.
1.5 'Subscription Period' means the monthly or annual period for which membership has been purchased.
1.6 'Team Account' means the single shared login credentials provided to an organisation for team access.
2. Membership Access
2.1 Upon successful payment, the member will receive login credentials to access the Empire Kitchen membership platform.
2.2 Team memberships are granted as a single shared account. The organisation is responsible for distributing access to its team members using the credentials provided.
2.3 Empire Kitchen does not require or collect individual employee email addresses. It is the organisation's responsibility to manage internal access to the shared account.
2.4 Login credentials must not be shared outside the organisation or with individuals not employed by or contracted to the subscribing organisation.
2.5 Empire Kitchen reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if credentials are found to be shared beyond the subscribed team tier.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Membership pricing is as listed on the Empire Kitchen website at the time of subscription. Prices are in GBP (£) or USD ($) as selected at checkout.
3.2 Monthly subscriptions are charged on a recurring monthly basis from the date of first payment.
3.3 Annual subscriptions are charged in full at the time of purchase and cover 12 months of access.
3.4 Empire Kitchen reserves the right to update membership pricing. Members on existing subscriptions will be given at least 30 days' written notice before any price change takes effect.
3.5 Continued use of the membership after a notified price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
4. Team Tiers and Tier Reviews
4.1 Team memberships are priced by team size tier as listed on the website: up to 10 people, 11–20 people, and 21–30 people.
4.2 The subscribed tier must reflect the actual number of team members with access to the shared account at any given time.
4.3 Tier reviews take place quarterly. If the organisation's team size has grown beyond the current tier, the organisation is required to upgrade to the appropriate tier at the next quarterly renewal date.
4.4 Empire Kitchen will contact the organisation at least 14 days before each quarterly review date to confirm current team size and tier.
4.5 Upgrading to a higher tier will be charged at the difference in monthly price from the date of upgrade. Downgrades to a lower tier will take effect at the next subscription renewal date.
4.6 The organisation is responsible for notifying Empire Kitchen if its team size changes significantly between quarterly reviews. Failure to upgrade the tier when required may result in suspension of access.
5. Cancellation
5.1 Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled by giving 30 days' written notice to hello@empire.kitchen. Access will continue until the end of the current paid monthly period following the notice period.
5.2 Annual subscriptions may be cancelled by giving 30 days' written notice prior to the renewal date. Cancellation notice must be received before the annual renewal date to prevent the next annual charge. Access continues until the end of the paid annual period.
5.3 Cancellation requests must be made in writing to hello@empire.kitchen. Cancellation is not confirmed until you receive written acknowledgement from Empire Kitchen.
5.4 It is the member's responsibility to ensure cancellation notice is given within the required timeframe. Empire Kitchen is not responsible for charges incurred due to late cancellation notice.
6. Refunds
6.1 Membership fees are non-refundable except as set out in clauses 6.2 and 6.3 below.
6.2 If Empire Kitchen discontinues the membership service entirely, members will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of their current subscription period.
6.3 By subscribing you enter into a binding agreement with Empire Kitchen on the terms set out in this document. If you have questions about these terms before subscribing, please contact hello@empire.kitchen.
6.4 Part-months, part-years, or periods of non-use are not grounds for a refund.
7. Annual Subscriptions
7.1 Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once access has been granted, except as set out in clause 6.
7.2 Annual subscriptions will not auto-renew without prior communication. Empire Kitchen will contact the member at least 30 days before the annual renewal date to confirm whether the subscription should continue.
7.3 New team members joining an organisation during an annual subscription period may be added at no additional charge provided the team remains within the subscribed tier. If the addition of new members moves the team into a higher tier, the organisation must upgrade and pay the difference.
8. Content and Updates
8.1 The Empire Kitchen membership provides access to a digital content library including recipes, cooking videos, meal plans, shopping lists, kitchen guides, and meditations. Content is provided for personal and internal business use only.
8.2 New content is added on a monthly basis. Empire Kitchen does not guarantee a specific volume or type of content in any given month beyond reasonable effort to maintain and grow the library.
8.3 Empire Kitchen reserves the right to update, modify, or remove content from the membership library at any time. Removal of content does not entitle the member to a refund.
8.4 Membership content may not be downloaded, redistributed, shared publicly, or used to create derivative works without prior written consent from Empire Kitchen.
9. Technical Requirements and IT Responsibility
9.1 Access to the Empire Kitchen membership platform requires a stable internet connection and a compatible device. It is the member's responsibility to ensure these requirements are met.
9.2 For team memberships, it is the organisation's sole responsibility to provide its team members with the shared login credentials and to ensure those team members have the technical means to access the platform.
9.3 Empire Kitchen is not responsible for any failure of access caused by the member's or organisation's internet connection, device, IT infrastructure, or internal systems.
9.4 Empire Kitchen will make reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Brief interruptions to service are not grounds for a refund or credit.
9.5 Technical support queries relating to the Empire Kitchen platform should be directed to hello@empire.kitchen. Empire Kitchen cannot provide support for third-party devices, software, or internet services.
10. Member Community
10.1 Access to the member community forum is included as part of the membership. Use of the community is optional.
10.2 Members are expected to engage with the community respectfully. Empire Kitchen reserves the right to remove any member from the community forum whose conduct is deemed disruptive, offensive, or harmful to other members.
10.3 Content posted in the community forum by members remains the responsibility of the posting member. Empire Kitchen does not endorse or take responsibility for member-generated content.
10.4 Empire Kitchen reserves the right to moderate, remove, or archive community content at its discretion.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 All membership content including recipes, videos, frameworks, guides, meal plans, and meditations remains the intellectual property of Empire Kitchen and Lace Flowers.
11.2 Membership grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use content for personal or internal business purposes only during the active subscription period.
11.3 Upon cancellation or termination of membership, access to content ceases and the licence granted under clause 11.2 ends.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Empire Kitchen membership content is educational and informational in nature. Nothing in the membership constitutes medical, nutritional, or professional health advice. Members should consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to their diet or health practices.
12.2 Empire Kitchen's total liability to the member in connection with the membership shall not exceed the total amount paid by the member in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12.3 Empire Kitchen is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from use of or inability to access the membership.
12.4 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Account Security
13.1 The member is responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their login credentials.
13.2 For team memberships, the organisation is responsible for ensuring that shared credentials are kept secure and are not disclosed to individuals outside the subscribed team.
13.3 If you believe your account credentials have been compromised, you must notify Empire Kitchen immediately at hello@empire.kitchen.
13.4 Empire Kitchen reserves the right to suspend an account where unauthorised access or misuse is suspected.
14. Termination by Empire Kitchen
14.1 Empire Kitchen reserves the right to terminate a membership immediately and without refund if the member breaches these terms, in particular clauses 2.4, 8.4, 10.2, or 11.
14.2 If Empire Kitchen terminates a membership for reasons unrelated to a breach by the member, a pro-rata refund of any unused paid period will be issued.
15. Data and Privacy
15.1 Empire Kitchen collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at empire.kitchen/privacy.
15.2 For team memberships, Empire Kitchen holds the organisation's account email address only. The organisation is responsible for the internal management of its employees' use of the shared account.
16. Governing Law
16.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Paraguay.
16.2 Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Paraguay. Where disputes cannot be resolved through the courts, the parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before commencing legal proceedings.
17. Changes to These Terms
17.1 Empire Kitchen reserves the right to update these membership terms at any time. Members will be given at least 30 days' written notice of material changes. Continued use of the membership after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17.2 The current version of these terms is always available at empire.kitchen.
