Empire Kitchen Membership Agreement

IMPORTANT: This Membership Agreement is supplemental to and incorporates our main Terms of Service (empire.kitchen/termsofservice). By purchasing ANY Empire Kitchen membership, you agree to BOTH this Membership Agreement AND our Terms of Service.

1. MEMBERSHIP TIERS

Empire Kitchen offers two membership tiers:

Foundation Tier

• Details on sales pages

• Pricing displayed at time of purchase

Premium Tier

• Everything in Foundation PLUS:

• Live monthly cooking classes

• Pricing displayed at time of purchase

Note: Membership features, tiers, and pricing are subject to change. Current pricing available at empire.kitchen/family and empire.kitchen/solocooks

2. PAYMENT & BILLING

2.1 Payment Processing

• All payments processed through Stripe

• By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method

• Monthly subscriptions: Renew automatically on the same day each month

• Annual subscriptions: Renew automatically on anniversary of purchase date

2.2 Failed Payments

• If payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry every 24 hours

• Your membership access will be immediately revoked until payment is successful

• If payment fails for 14 consecutive days, membership will be permanently cancelled

• You must re-purchase to regain access

• You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information

2.3 Pricing Changes

• Membership pricing subject to change

• Current members grandfathered at existing rates when possible

• New rates apply at next renewal

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

3.1 How to Cancel

• Cancel anytime through your member portal or Stripe customer account

• No assistance required - you have full control

3.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect

• Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period

• You retain access until the end of your paid period

• No partial refunds for unused time

3.3 After Cancellation

• Access to member portal and content terminates immediately when billing period ends

• You may not retain, copy, or use any membership content after cancellation

• Your license to access content is revoked

4. REFUND POLICY

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS.

• Empire Kitchen operates a strict no-refund policy for all memberships

• Digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase, making memberships non-refundable

• You may cancel future billing at any time, but no refunds for past payments

• By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy

5. ACCOUNT SHARING & CONTENT PROTECTION

5.1 Account Sharing Prohibited

• Your membership is for personal use only

• You may NOT share login credentials

• You may NOT share membership content outside the membership

• One account per person

5.2 Content Protection

All content within Empire Kitchen is copyrighted and proprietary.

You may NOT:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute membership content

• Share content on social media, blogs, or other platforms (except personal/family use)

• Screenshot or record content to share with non-members

• Sell, license, or monetize any Empire Kitchen content

• Use content for commercial purposes

5.3 Consequences of Violation

• Immediate and permanent ban from Empire Kitchen without refund

• Legal action may be taken for copyright infringement

• We actively monitor for content theft and account sharing

6. COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT

6.1 How to Get Support

• General questions: Telegram community group

• Payment or sensitive inquiries: hello@empire.kitchen

• Technical issues: hello@empire.kitchen

6.2 Direct Messaging Policy

• Do NOT direct message Lace Flowers unless you are an active 1:1 client

• Unsolicited DMs will not receive a response

• All member support happens in Telegram group or via email

• This boundary ensures equal support for all members

6.3 Response Times

• All members: Community support + email (2-5 business days)

• No 24/7 support provided

7. COMMUNITY CONDUCT

7.1 Expected Behavior

• Be respectful and supportive

• Keep discussions relevant and constructive

• Respect boundaries and guidelines

• Use appropriate language

7.2 Prohibited Behavior

• Spam or unauthorized promotional posts

• Harassment, bullying, discrimination

• Sharing harmful, offensive, or illegal content

• Being disruptive, rude, or disrespectful

• Violating communication boundaries

7.3 Removal Policy

• We reserve the right to remove any member at any time, without notice or refund

• Rude, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior = immediate removal

• Decisions are final and non-negotiable

8. LIVE SESSIONS (COLLECTIVE TIER)

8.1 Session Details

• Live cooking classes (monthly)

• Live Q&A sessions (monthly)

• Weekly Monday coworking (60 min)

• All sessions scheduled via member portal

8.2 Attendance & Replays

• Attendance optional but encouraged

• All sessions recorded and available as replays

• We are not responsible if you miss a live session

8.3 Recording Consent

• All live sessions are recorded

• By attending, you consent to being recorded (video and audio)

• Keep camera/microphone off if you do not wish to be recorded

• Recordings for member use only - may not be shared

8.4 Schedule Changes

• Session dates/times may change with notice

• We accommodate schedules when possible

• Cannot guarantee convenience for all time zones

9. CONTENT & MEMBERSHIP CHANGES

9.1 Right to Modify

Empire Kitchen reserves the right to:

• Change, update, or remove any membership content

• Add or remove features, resources, or training

• Modify membership tiers or structure

• Change live session frequency or format

• Close the membership program entirely

9.2 Notice

• We provide as much notice as possible for significant changes

• Not obligated to provide advance notice for minor updates

• Continued membership after changes = acceptance

9.3 No Guarantees

• We do not guarantee specific content will always be available

• Live session schedules may change

• Content may be updated, archived, or removed at our discretion

10. DISCLAIMERS

10.1 Educational Purpose

• Membership provides education, resources, and community support

• Not professional advice (medical, nutritional, financial, legal, etc.)

• Consult qualified professionals for specific advice

10.2 No Guarantees of Results

• We do not guarantee specific results, outcomes, or transformations

• Your results depend on your effort, consistency, and circumstances

10.3 Health & Safety

• Family activities should be age-appropriate and supervised

• Parents/guardians responsible for child safety

• Consult healthcare providers for dietary restrictions or concerns

10.4 Limitation of Liability

• Services provided "as is" without warranties

• Our liability limited to amount you paid for membership

• Not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Your use is at your own risk

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

11.1 License Grant

Your membership grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access content for personal use only during your active membership.

11.2 Upon Cancellation

Your license terminates immediately when membership ends. You may not retain, copy, or use any content after cancellation.

11.3 Ownership

All content is owned by Lace Flowers / Empire Kitchen and protected by copyright.

12. AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase and use Empire Kitchen membership. By purchasing, you confirm you meet this requirement.

13. PRIVACY

Your privacy is important. See our Privacy Policy (empire.kitchen/privacy) for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By joining, you consent to:

• Membership-related emails

• Community announcements

• Promotional emails (you may unsubscribe from promotional only)

14. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom.

Disputes will be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation

• Mediation (if necessary)

• Binding arbitration in the United Kingdom

You agree to resolve disputes individually (class action waiver).

15. MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to update this Membership Agreement at any time.

• Changes posted in member portal

• Continued use = acceptance of changes

• Major changes communicated via email when possible

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Membership Agreement, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding your Empire Kitchen membership.
