Abstract: The Infrastructure, Endurance, and Hidden Labor section of this research explores the hidden systems that impact leadership effectiveness in online entrepreneurship. Through 18 years of study on nutrition, mental health, and family dynamics, my section of the paper documents how food security, nourishment practices, and systemic access directly influence decision-making capability, and sustainable business success—especially for marginalized entrepreneurs and women-led businesses.
Key Findings:
Nutrition and mental health directly impact business decision-making
Food security functions as a foundation for leadership capacity
Family/personal systems mirror business system patterns
Equitable access to nourishment is a business equity issue

The Fully Flavored Business Podcast Co Hosted by Lace
Lace Flowers knew the cost of staying small.
One email — the kind that makes your chest tighten and your worth feel negotiable — became her turning point.
While others dismissed her value, she found clarity in the one place no one could diminish her: the kitchen.
Hands in spices, sauce bubbling on the stove, she realised she didn’t want to build other people’s dreams from the shadows. She wanted to build her own.
What started as a simple moment in front of a frying pan turned into Empire Kitchen — a path for entrepreneurial families who want to work, parent, and live with less chaos and more connection.
And then came The Flavor Room™, a bold, unapologetic space where women of colour lead, influence, and redefine the online business world on their own terms.
Two movements. One woman who refused to accept scraps. One story that shows what happens when you stop dimming your light to make others comfortable.
